The Unitree A2-W combines the mobility of a quadruped robot with the efficiency and speed of a wheeled platform, delivering a powerful solution for industrial inspection, logistics, emergency response and autonomous operations. Built around an efficient wheel-drive architecture, the A2-W is designed to move quickly across challenging environments while carrying substantial payloads.
The A2-W combines 16 degrees of freedom, high-performance joint motors and a maximum joint torque of approximately 180 N·m. Its wheeled design provides speeds of up to approximately 6 m/s, while its articulated legs allow it to tackle slopes of around 45°, steps up to 30cm and climb obstacles of approximately 0.5–1m. With a continuous walking payload of approximately 25kg and a maximum standing load of around 100kg, the A2-W provides the strength and stability required for professional robotic applications.
With two 9,000mAh batteries providing a combined 907.2Wh, the A2-W can achieve more than 3.5 hours of continuous operation without load, with a range of approximately 35km under stated test conditions. The platform provides an onboard 8-core high-performance CPU alongside an Intel Core i7 for user development, with multiple interfaces including RS485, CAN, Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0 Type-C for integrating additional sensors, payloads and robotic systems.
