The Unitree A2 is Unitree's flagship industrial-grade quadruped robot, engineered for demanding real-world deployment across inspection, logistics and research and development. Balancing endurance, strength, speed and perception, the A2 is designed for organisations that need a rugged and versatile platform for challenging environments.
Weighing approximately 37kg unloaded, the A2 supports a maximum standing load of up to 100kg and a continuous walking payload of 25kg, reaching top speeds of 5 m/s while climbing 45° slopes and stepping over obstacles up to 1m high. Dual industrial-grade LiDAR units — mounted front and rear — combine with an HD camera and front light to provide 360° environmental awareness and eliminate blind spots.
Powered by a hot-swappable dual-battery system, the A2 delivers more than 5 hours of continuous walking (approximately 20km) unloaded, or more than 3 hours (approximately 12.5km) with a 25kg load. With an IP56/IP67 protection rating and an operating range of -20°C to 55°C, the platform runs on an 8-core high-performance CPU with optional Intel Core i7 for user development, and supports ROS2 and NVIDIA Isaac workflows for research, mapping and autonomous navigation.
