Marty V2 is an engaging, programmable humanoid robot designed to help students progress from their first coding concepts through to more advanced robotics, Python and physical computing projects.
Unlike traditional wheeled coding robots, Marty can walk, turn, sidestep, dance and kick, giving learners a more hands-on way to understand programming, movement, sensors and real-world robotics. Its distinctive humanoid design, powered by nine smart servo motors and a custom ESP32-based controller, helps students see their code come to life.
Marty supports a broad learning journey, from screen-free and block-based activities through to text-based programming. Students can use MartyBlocks Jr, MartyBlocks and Python, with more advanced projects possible using platforms such as Raspberry Pi and ROS.
